Recipe VIDEO above. One of Korea's most famous food exports! The key here is the Bibimbap Sauce - feel free to switch the veg and meat, whatever you use is going to be amazing once mixed up with that Sauce. Delicious Thai Burritos with Peanut Sauce, baked peanut Tofu, black rice, spicy sriracha black beans and shredded crunchy veggies all wrapped up in a warm, whole wheat tortilla. Makes 4 hearty burritos
I can't say with certainty that this is authentic because it's a recipe I created. But it uses classic Middle Eastern ingredients, so possibly it is! The lamb is really juicy because it's made with lamb shoulder, a cut that is made for slow cooking. The pan frying step to get the crunchy brown bits is not optional - it's key! ! ! As with any shredded meat recipe, a little goes a long way. This makes around 8 cups of shredded lamb which I think is enough to serve 8 people as a main (with rice). See separate recipe below for Chickpea Pilaf (Rice).
Easy Korean fusion recipe for Chicken. Marinated in soy ginger sauce, seared golden brown, braised in oven with onions and lemon.
Recipe video above. The smell when this is cooking is outrageous! The marinade is very quick to prepare and the chicken can be frozen in the marinade, then defrosted prior to cooking. Best cooked on the outdoor grill / BBQ, but I usually make it on the stove. Serve with Yogurt Sauce (provided) or the Tahini sauce in this recipe. Add a simple salad and flatbread laid out on a large platter, then let everyone make their own wraps!

If you don’t already know, I’m a super-duper big fan of Korean food. Do you know they actually serve different banchan (small side dishes) to Korean customers vs non-Korean customers in Korean restaurants? I contemplated so many times to learn Korean language so I could order in Korean and hopefully pass off as one, so they’ll serve me those secret speakeasy side dishes. Tiger thinks I’m Crazy – with a capital C.

Recipe video above. An exciting way to use ground meat (mince) to make a quick stir fry that taste unbelievable! This is great made with chicken, turkey or pork. It also works with beef though it is better made with "white meats". Serve it over rice or vermicelli noodles to make rice bowls with shredded lettuce, carrots and cucumbers on the side (very classic Vietnamese meal!).**NOTE: If you reduce sugar then the pork will not caramelise as well and it will take longer to get colour on it!**
